Naimish Nagar Yojana: location and plots

Naimish Nagar Yojana (नैमिष नगर योजना) is on the Sitapur Road side of Lucknow, in the Bakshi Ka Talab area.

• Plot sizes: reported from about 72 sq m up to 450 sq m.
• Reported rate: around ₹3,800 per sq ft.
• Registration: same window as Varun Vihar, 24 September to 24 October 2026.

The smaller plot sizes make Naimish Nagar interesting for buyers with a tighter budget who still want an LDA plot. The higher per sq ft rate reflects its location on the Sitapur Road corridor.

How to apply for LDA plots (step by step)

1. Go to the official portal: registration.ldalucknow.in.
2. Create an account or log in with your mobile number and email.
3. Find the scheme under online lotteries and select Varun Vihar Yojana or Naimish Nagar Yojana.
4. Download and read the scheme booklet before choosing a plot category.
5. Fill in your details and choose your plot size category.
6. Upload the required documents (identity, address and anything else the booklet asks for).

Why these areas of Lucknow are growing

Lucknow's growth has been pushing outward for years, and both schemes sit on growth corridors.

The Agra Expressway side, where Varun Vihar is, already benefits from strong road connectivity. And the Awadh Expressway (the Lucknow to Kanpur expressway), inaugurated on 13 July 2026, has further improved the city's links on that side of the region.

The Sitapur Road and Bakshi Ka Talab belt, home to Naimish Nagar, has been growing as Lucknow expands north.

LDA has also been active elsewhere. Anant Nagar Yojana on Mohan Road ran its Phase 5 plot registration in August and September, and the Aditi Apartment (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) in Anant Nagar has registration open till 2 November 2026.

LDA plots are safer than most, but still read the fine print:

1. Booklet first: plot categories, exact rates, reservation quotas, eligibility and documents.
2. Development status: parts of these townships are still in land acquisition. Ask yourself whether you can wait for roads, drainage and power to come up.
3. Total cost: add up plot price, any location charges (corner plot, park facing, wider road), registration and stamp duty.
4. Payment schedule: make sure the instalments fit your cash flow. Missing payments can mean penalties or cancellation.
5. Refund rules: know what you get back if you're not selected or if you change your mind.
6. Fraud: LDA lotteries are random. Anyone promising a "fixed" allotment for money is lying.
